If you have a recent mount program, there ought to be some option for mounting the device. You may have to add it as a device if you haven't already, I've had similar things happen before. One time I had a printer that the USB could see, but could not use. I never figured out what was up with that, I believe a bad driver because I tried everything!

since I use Fedora 9, mount program and its drivers must be latest.
I searched on net and found gnokii nad phone manager. Both are installed but still doesnt mount.

Anyway to do this ??

Will you consider Bluetooth as an option?

Hey buy a new USB bluetooth for ur PC and connect it...
Its so easy to transfer and receive files via bluetooth...

As soon as u connect a bluetooth, a bluetooth applet will appear near the control panel..
Do some configurations as right click on it and click on preferences... Then click the option "Visible and connectable ..." after doing this right click on any file which u need to transfer and click on send to, u will get a dialog box from which u can transfer the files...
(U need to enable the bluetooth in ur device also)

To receive files, u need to pair the device... and then right click on the bluetooth applet and click on "Browse Device". You get a list of devices to select. Select ur device and then copy paste ur stuff to the PC.

It Just that simple... No need of any wires and stuff...
