Mixing repositories

There used to be a 'law' against installing combinations of repositories under Core 5.

Now that I have upgraded to Core 6 is it still sage advice to avoid some combinations ?

ie: Is there a conflict between the Livna Repo and Freshrpms ?

It looks like this has been answered here, but again the answer seems to be for FC5

Livna + Freshrpms = NO !

I use Livna and Freshrpms on Fedora Core 6. So far I have not experienced any problems. Some of the repos are definitely incompatible with Fedora Extras and other repos. I think the one that was notorious for this is atrpms.
