Migrating to Fedora from RH 9

Hey Guys,

I'm currently dual booting RedHat 9 and SuSE Linux 8.2 Professional.

I was just wondering when will there be a release that both RH and Fedora have worked on, and how will it compare to RedHat Linux.

Is there any point trying it or shall I just move to SuSE permenantly?

Come to think of it, any information anyone can put in here about Fedora and the merger would be useful!

Thanks Guys

Here is the link to the Official website for Fedora where you can find alot of information about the RH9 -> Fedora Migration: Fedora Core Homepage

I upgraded my RH9 distro to Fedora about a month ago and I really like Fedora. The changes over RH9 aren't quickly detected until you use it for a while but I haven't found anything that I don't like about compared to RH9. I think it is a good step forward.

sgt,

Fedora Core is worked on by Red Hat engineers and community members, the Fedora Extras, and Alternatives are more community maintained.

I changed over to Fedora Core 1 from RH9, to me so far, being a linux newbie and not doing too much on linux it really is the same thing. I guess once I do some other things..

In fact its pretty bad, I have been using Linux since RH 7.1 I used 7.3 and then RH9, I can still call myself a newbie.. I really need to learn more about linux..
