Question Menu bar missing in Nautilus

I have installed Fedora 12 (Constantine) in my laptop. I updated gnome packages in my system and after the update I found that the menu bar in nautilus is missing. I tried a lot to restore the default appreance it could not be done. Please help me to restore my folder view settings especially the menu bar in nautilus.

What do you mean "menu bar" ?
There are either Main Toolbar, Location Bar or Status bar.

If you have access to the Edit > Preferences > Behavior tab, check always open in Browser windows.
If that doesn't have any effect, you can reinstall nautilus :
yum reinstall nautilus

By menu bar do you mean "Main menu" or "Taskbar" ?

Well "Main menu" can be restored by right-clicking the "Taskbar" and then selecting it from "Add items" list!

There is no taskbar in nautilus, there are only panels. If you have any panel on your desktop right click on it and select "add new panel", then you can add more items like application launcher, etc. etc. in the new panel.

Sayan, maybe you misunderstood the question. The OP talks about the Nautilus app, not the GNOME desktop.

ponmuralli, I second the suggestion by smoker:

if that does not solve the issue, the gconf-editor can be of some help. Better if you can attach a screenshot of a nautilus window, to see what's really going on.

Thank you friends I have solved my problems by re-installing nautilus in my system. Now the system runs as usual without any problems.
