Memory requirements for Fedora 7?

Simple question, I hope...

I have an old system running FC4 that acts as my email server, web server, and internet interface/firewall at my house. I would like to upgrade it to Fedora 7. However, I just realized that this old machine only has 256 MB of memory on it. I know I can run the live CD off the image, but can I install Fedora 7 and run those services on a machine of that size? I don't want to do the install and then find it doesn't work and have to back it out...

thanks very much,

nbc

Here's some specifics that can be found here:

Quote:

Fedora 7 requires an Intel Pentium or better processor, and is optimized for Pentium 4 and later processors.

Recommended for text-mode: 200 MHz Pentium-class or better

Recommended for graphical: 400 MHz Pentium II or better

Minimum RAM for text-mode: 128MiB

Minimum RAM for graphical: 192MiB

Recommended RAM for graphical: 256MiB
If you're saying that you can run the live CD on your computer I don't see why it wouldn't work if you install it. I personally have a computer with 256MB of RAM running FC6 and I know it could take F7 if I installed it.

Memory req - F7

That's what I figured - just wanted to confirm. Thanks very much...
