Question mapping keyboard to ascii


How can I map ê to alt+136 in fedora 8? I´m using a gnome terminal, bash. The documentation was not very clear to me. Assistance would be appreciated.

If you don't use a keyboard with it on (e.g. French, Spanish), I think using your Compose key will be the easiest method. Check out:
