ok I'm using FC5 x86_64 with updated kernel from yum 2.6.16-1.2122_FC5, updated packages from yum, and on a Athlon 64 system.
ok my first problem is xine. I install xine through yum and now everytime i start xine from GUI or command my X-session shutdown and restart to log in screen. I don't know if a log file is made or I'll post.
My second problem is with ATI drivers. I visited a site that claim you can install and get 3d acc in linux with a radeon card and livna drivers. the address is
http://www.fedorafaq.org/#radeon I think this is the fedora main site but anyway if i go into xorg.conf and change the driver to ati or fglrx my screen goes completely black with no return. if any have gone beyond this problem please let me know thank you in advance.
