LVM + separate disk used as backup?
I am just double checking. I have managed to really screw up this kind of thing in the past.
I have virgin installed Fedora 16 as a lvm install on /dev/sdb. I have never used lvm before. I have another disk /dev/sda2 which is a separtate partition labeled /LinuxBU/ where I store my backups. I have created /mnt/LinuxBU as a mount point.
I want to mount /LinuxBU/ when I boot. fstab looks strange to me with its volume management goobly gook. I want to double check how I make sure I mount /LinuxBU/ properly? Is an fstab entry for /mnt/linuxBu sufficient? I know how to write a normal fstab entry.
