local apt repo
I'm setting up my FC3 system however there are a few rpm's that I have that I would like to install via apt-get. I could just rpm -U them, however I would like to have a local repo so if down the road I want to install foo I can add it to my repo and have apt solve the dependencies.

So ... Are you wanting to know how to install apt on FC3 or how to build an apt repository?
Both are available with a google search. |
how to build an apt repository. I'm sure it's out there but on my generic Goolge's I get how to do it for deb and If I bring FC3 or RPM into the mix I get nothing usable. If you can give me a link I would be happy. You can even provide it with a http://www.justfuckinggoogleit.com/ URL

First link here
Love the site in your post though. I know a number of people that will be seeing that one a *LOT* :) |
Thanks that works... or will. :)

Using createrepo and yum is so much simpler. Both are included with FC3.
