http://humboldt-conference.chem.uni-...ftp-install/2/

list of fedora mirrors:

http://fedora.redhat.com/download/mirrors.html

Will someone please!!! , list a complete website to do Network install.
Every hostname I type in, it say's "it's not valid hostname". And I'am typing them in exactly as
it shows, example Web site name: http://ftp.ndlug.nd.edu/
Fedora core directory: pub/fedora/linux/core/3/i386/os/Fedora/RPMS/
Even if I drop the /Fedora/RPMS, same error message..
Even I try a ftp:// using ftp sites.

Thanks
Jim

Try pressing [CTL][ALT][F3] to see the install log. You might find some insight there.

http://ftp.ndlug.nd.edu/
/pub/fedora/linux/core/3/i386/os/

Correct me if I am wrong, but dont you want to use the os/ directory to install from? (not the RPM directory)

Also, did you check the md5sum on the disc 1 iso, and run a media check on it prior to installation

A while back I used http://mirror.linux.duke.edu/pub/fed...ore/3/i386/os/ and it worked perfectly
