How can I use Lilo with Fedora with a true way ?
I tried some disros with a Pentium 4 machine and SATA harddrive which not accepted GRUB some times, but lilo is working fine.
I used
lilo-22.7-43.i586.rpm
http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat....i586.rpm.html
Every thing are ok when I install lilo with my lilo.conf
I made
ln -s vmlinuz-2.6.25-##.### vmlinuz in boot directory.
Finally I got "
Kernel panic" or "
Can not find root file system",
I tried three ways in lilo.conf I can not post it here because I don't have access to that machine now, but I think it's like this:
