Kpp and fedora 11-->unable to find host...


Dear Friends,

I tried to connect using KPP and sierra 811 modem,
It said it has connected but I unable to ping to google...

What should I do ?

have you checked that you have a valid ip address with the ifconfig command? do you see the ppp0 interface up? is there any error or advice in /var/log/messages ?

is your /etc/resolv.conf setup correctly. what dialup service are you using. if it,s netzero default dialer's such as kpp andd ppp will not work.

ya i have used ifconfig,and the ppp0 interface up
i'll have a look the /var/log/messages

problem solved,
adding nameserver to /etc/resolv.conf
