KOffice on FC4
I don't see an RPM for Fedora Core 4 on the KOffice site.
Is there another RPM I can use for FC4, or some other way around this problem? Moxieman99 |
Try this. Also, do you have yum set up? I'm surprised there isn't an rpm available on there, although it may not be in one of the official repositories.

Code:
yum install koffice-suite |
Thanks, I'll check it out.
Unfortunately, since the files I have on it are confidential (the guy who built it for me had to spend extra time finding a motherboard that didn't have a built-in ethernet card for the motherboard but the Mboard could handle late-model pentium CPUs), there is no modem or other connection. I figure if I cannot be connected to, I don't have to worry about it. I have Open Office, but was interested in checking out KOffice. |
The first link that appears on the Google search I posted above was from rpmfind, so you should be able to download the rpms from the internet on another computer, copy them to your private computer using a USB-key or something, and then install them with 'rpm -Uvh <rpm-filename>'. Hope it helps.
