kickstart issues

Hey people,

I have a box where I want to do kickstart install and I have prepared a ks.cfg file. Now the network card that comes with this box is not recognized by the default kernel supplied by fedora core 2 but it is recognized when I upgrade it to 2.6.8 kernel later on.

So network install is ruled out. The machine does not have a floppy drive - so I can't make a boot cd rom with a ks.cfg in it.

No point making a boot cd rom as I can;t do a network or a hard drive install.

The only option I think available to me is copy CD1 contents to some PC, add ks.cfg to isolinux/ directory, make an iso and then burn it back. Will this work?

Is yes then could you please provide the commands for making the iso (mkisofs) and cdrecord?

TIA
