KeyRing Prompt

Hardware:
Compaq E700
20GB Drive
SMC A/B Wireless PCMCIA Card

Software:
Fedora-8-Live-i686.iso
GNOME

I wanted to do a simple load on an old laptop of fedora.

Goal was automatic login for my kid to use the laptop, under the control of squid for security of browsing on my wireless networks.

The issue is that once my son logs-in he gets prompted for access to the keyring (root level password).

I followed several website instructions to add PAM references for keyring authorization

Non of this matters. I am sure this is something simple but I am missing it.

Can someone maybe provide a bit more detail of 'how' Network Manager and the keyring nm-applet work together under GNOME?

Thanks

There's a good, working setup here, http://www.howtoforge.com/installati...ra8-desktop-p3, at the bottom of the page. I've used it several times on my Fedora installs. Only problem is that I don't think you can have auto-login enabled for the keyring fixes to work.
