On a lot of systems, when you get to where you are entering the password, the keyboard will appear to not be working but it is actually taking the key input. Try entering the information anyway and see what happens

some guy says :

"But when the system was booted up, I could see the kernel in the /boot folder! So I came to the idea that something is screwed up with the external /boot and yeah, after removing /boot from /etc/fstab and reinstalling the kernels into the /boot folder of the root partition everything works fine"

He had a similar problem; does any body can describe "... after removing /boot from /etc/fstab and reinstalling the kernels into the /boot folder of the root partition..."

how to reinstall kernels ?
must i reboor after "removing /boot from /etc/fstab" ??

another idea ???

thank you guys

it looks like an slow keyboard function was activated by mistake; a combination of shift, ctrl and another key (not sure if block mayus) for more than 10 seconds has reactivated ... not sure but y got a very fast message about it.

it works know :-)
