Angry Keyboard and Mouse reverse and don't function after Core 2 install...HELP!

I just installed Core 2 1.91 and walked through a basic install. No Problems. After doing so I noticed that that kudzu wouldn't detect anything, I couldn't access kudzu and my the only way that my mouse and keyboard will work is if they are in opposing ports that they should normally be plugged into. Could anyone PLEASE PLEASE help me resolve this. Thanks so much!
