Kernel source

Hello all,

I used to get kernel sources from www.kernel.org, and wondering if 2.4.22 kernel sources can be used to compile my own kernel.

My Distro: Fedora Core 1

Better yet, if anyone know where to get the module for my Tekram 395UW scsi card it would eliminate all my hassles. Thanks.

I am doing this as my Tekram 395UW scsi card needs a module that is not available for Fedora yet. Before upgrading to Fedora I was using my custom built kernel 2.4.19 and this scsi card source code included in the build.

All expertise is appreciated.

Yes. The sourcecode from www.kernel.org will work with any distribution. Actually, a better way to phrase it is: Every distribution gets their source code from www.kernel.org.

There is a reasonable chance that a module compile for a Red hat kernel will work on Fedora.
