Kernel Panic with Kernel on VMWare ESXi Server

I installed Fedora 9 on a VMWare ESXi Server. Everything works fine with Kernel 2.6.25-14.fc9.x86_64 after updating to Kernel on boot there is a kernel panic directly after initrd. With Kernel we have the same issue.

Does anybody have a suggestion?

Thanx a lot,
