Kernel compilation problem 2.6.5-1.358

I've installed FC2 in my machine. I have compiled the Kernel & followed these steps.
1. make xconfig
2. make bzImage
3. make modules
4. make modules_install
5. Copied bzImage to /boot
6. Added an entry for the new kernel in grub.conf

When I tried to boot the new kernel, I got the the message

jbd: version magic '2.6.5-1.358 686 REGPARAM 4KSTACKS gcc-3.3' should be '2..6.5-1.358custom preempt K7 REGPARM 4KSTACKS gcc-3.3'

What could be wrong?

The problem solved. I've run mkinitrd.

Instead of manually copying bzImage, editing grub.conf, and running mkinitrd, I ran "make install" and it did everything automatically
