kernel 2.6.12-1.1381 FC3 . FC4?

I have FC3 with kernel 2.6.12-1.1381 .
Now is there reason to upgrade to FC4 with a slightly lower kernel.

If everything is working fine I'd leave it alone, it takes forever to get everything working right and an upgrade for no reason seems silly, unless you're just playing around with Fedora and using it to learn.

I thoroughly agree with you . The thing is everything thing is never working alright. So one thinks using an upgrade may help.

. I had an HP printer (PSC1315) working fine with scanner and all. Now for some reason the scanner does not work . Many postings at HP Linux printing project have been of no help.

The latest released FC4 kernel is 2.6.15-1.1831_FC4; you just need to update once you install it. FC3 has been discontinued and moved into Legacy, so you are not going to get any newer versions of stuff in FC3.
