The desktop effects feature of kde and gnome isn't working. It just says it could not be loaded. I have a hp pavilion dv6516tx notebook with an nvidia 8400 graphics card. I also have fc8. ANy ideas?
Well what happens when you try and enable the effects? I would try them in gnome as I've heard they are buggy in kde.
Try running desktop-effects from a terminal window and see what error messages you get. Please refer to this url for more info http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...dora-8-601175/
