javascript in firefox

I am trying to view the archive clips in the C-Span site.

The live stream from play.rbn.com works, but the archive links - javascript:playClip(clipxx) - do not respond - not even an error message.

This is my present setup, working flawlessly in every other instance:

Fedora/fc4
Firefox/1.0.7
RealPlayer 10.0.6.776
Java Runtime Version 1.5.0_05 (tested and verified in the browser)

I'd appreciate any clues if someone's got 'em.

Im having a similar problem but mine is probably due to a very faulty firefox extension that didnt uninstall very cleanly.. Mainly it borked by firefox and didnt uninstall at all.. d: Configuration mania it was called I think..

My tip is, create a new firefox profile (start with the -ProfileManager switch) and try with that.. Then youll know if its your firefox thats making the trouble or if the sitte is just coded weirdly (:
