Invalid Python installation on fc7/ps3
I can't do any yum updates as python-config does not operate properly and causes the version check to fail. The installed version is 2.5-15.fc7, which is correct and up-to-date. The problem seems to be that there is no /usr/lib/python2.5/config/ directory. The python-config script is looking for Makefile in that directory. Is there an easy way to fix this? Removing and reinstalling python doesn't seem practical given all its dependencies.
