Question Intel Pro Wireless 2200BG

OK I'm fairly new with linux for i only been playing around with it about a half year.

I have a Acer Travelmate 4500 laptop running Fedora Core 4 with the latest 2.6.14.- kernel and an internal Intel 2200BG wireless adapter, and i am sure you are aware of the wireless card i am talking about.

I had it working somewhere between doing the procedures at http://ipw2200.sourceforge.net/ and Ndiswrapper, it worked great!

Then i wiped my hard disk and reinstalled it because i was going to document what I did and share it with my friends that wanted to get the wireless working on their Acers. Now i cant get it working. I wish that somewhere there would be well detailed procedures for either ipw220 project or ndiswrapper for Fedora Core 4. I searched these forums and every thread says something different.

One more time I am gonna totally reinstall it set up my repositories and perform a yum update. From here before i touch anything else does anyone have detailed preocedures from step 1 through the last step that make sense to me and others in order to get my card working? PLease help!?! I hate the thought of using windows unless I really really really have to do so.
