installed Router, error message

I have been running FC3 for quite some time....I had a Windows box sitting behind it. I recently installed a Router and now both boxes have a 192.168 address. On the FC3 box, on reboot I get this message:
Could not look up internet address for darco(my hostname). This will prevent GNOME from operating correctly. It may be possible to correct this problem by adding darco to the file /etc/hosts.

I did what the message said but I still get the same message. One note, my FC3 box has a static IP as I have a game server that runs on it....

thanks
dareino

Post up your /etc/hosts file and I'll tell you what to put in it. If you dont feel comfortable doing that then you simply want to edit it so that it has one line with the ip address followed by your hostname. For example, mine would be:
Code:
192.168.2.4 localhost.localdomain
and thats about it.
Regards
Chris

You need to make sure that the IP address is correct. You might also want to try just the IP followed by darco.
