Install Kernel 2.4.22

Hi there,

I've got an "Asus A7N8X Deluxe rev.2" motherboard and want to use the Sil3112 RAID controler. The Sil website only offers a precompiled RH8 Kernel. I've now red someware, that Kernel 2.4.22 supports this controler
Heres my question:
How can I install Kernel 2.4.22 instead of 2.4.19. I've downloaded it from Kernel.org and put it on a floppy. Can I give the Annaconda-Installer some commands to do this?
