Hi here,

I download Fedora Core 11 64 DVD iso file. Preinstall work I have done as bellow.

1 extracted files vmlinuz ,initrd.img, install.img to a fat partition.
2 install grub4dos.

Installing step as bellow:

1 restart computer.
2 boot vmlinuz and initrd.img from grub.
for now, everything seems fine. INstallation wizard was up successful.
Installation wizard ask install mode, and I chose from harddriver and I was prompted to choose install.img.

After all above I have done, the installation was start to install the linux. But there is a stranger thing. As i download DVD iso, I supposed it should be the installation repository instead of other internet repository. But actually, my installing was fetching all packages from internet. it never touch my DVD iso.

Did I miss something?

Any following to the thread is appriciated.

Make sure you downloaded the install DVD image and make sure you didn't select/check the updates repository. Is it a problem grabbing updates from the internet?
