I need some valid link to Fedora Core 2 4 gigs DVD iso pls!

Please provide only working now (tested) links. I cannot donwload from fedora.redhat.com because it says there are too many connections from my internet provider. Probably a lot of people from here downloads it.

The problem is that a hardware router is blocking the mirc, bittorrent, emule, kazaa,... ports.

They don't make a dvd iso - only cd. You'll have to get the cd images and then put them onto a cd. Do a search of LQ, there have been a couple of threads about making a dvd for booting.

XavierP, are you sure there is no DVD ISO available? Or at least was available at some point?

GufyMike, my Flashget shows the DVD ISO size is only 73,900 KB. Shouldn't it be around 4,1 Gigs?

Yes it should be and the site reports it as 4.1GB.

of the 3 Links I have tried the byte count I get is: 2097152KB

Here ore the other sites I have tried.
http://mirror.linux.duke.edu/pub/fed...re/2/i386/iso/ <---- Reports it as 4GB
ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/fedora/core/2/i386/iso/ <--- No Size is listed
ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/fedora/core/2/i386/iso/ <-- Site of the link I sent Reports it 4.1GB

I cann't check all the mirrors for fedora to find one but here is the Fedora Mirror list:
http://fedora.redhat.com/download/mirrors.html

It should be available from my server in about an hour.
If my download goes well. I will post a link to my server here after I download it. It is about 2GB huge. And that is from the official servers. Should it be 4GB? I don't know I installed from CD isos.

Be back in an hour

P.S. I also tried a direct link from fedora.redhat.com and the byte count is 2000000KB or about. Somewhere about 2 GB. Where did you come to the number of 4 GIGs?

Some sites in the mirror lists report it s 4.1GB in the file size listing but when I didn attempt to dload it the byte count was as reported above. Bit Torrent Links report it as about 2GB also, why the descrepency I have no Idea.

I know, I am just downloading the 4 GIG iso. I figure it has source in it also for the difference from the 2GIG which is just the binaries.

To theMagus:

Email me for a link as I am not posting it here, because that will result in a lot of connections to my server, and I don't want that, because I don't know if I am authorized for that of course I am. I will have the iso in 20 min at this rate.

Ok I got it. It is 4 GIG huge and MD5SUM confirms that is complete.

So theMagus email me if you haven't got it somewhere else until now, in which case post here and say so, so I can delete the file

Pace!
