I seem to have a problem with browesing network shares with Nautalis but I have had no problem connecting to my other computers with Konquerer by typing in smb://<computerIP>

What are you using to try to connect to the other computers?

I had the same problem when trying the beta tests.

The problem is that you have to set up the firewall to trust your ethernet and also it takes a few minutes to realize where you are and allow you to browse samba shares.

I don't know if the answer is going to help you, but you can try ;-)

If you're trying to connect and it asks you for the user/pass if you have no password it's the username you shared the drives under.. type it in and hit enter and you're gtg.
