Question I am a Newbie and I need Help installing Kernel 2.6.2 on Fedora Core 1

I am so confused, First off How can I do a very easy install of the 2.6.2 kernel step by step and secondly, where do RPMs get installed?

heres your answer to the kernel question

and as of the rpms.... who knows?
they are all different .... it depends where the developer specifies "it" to go ..
