FC5 , Hp Officejet 4315, printer, scanner.
Has anyone had this printer working in Fedora.
there is no driver in Printer setup for this printer, just for a 4300.
More than likely it will use the HPLIP driver package. Not sure if FC6 installs it or it may depend on the setup choices.
If not installed the rpm needed may be on the cd. search them for hplip-****.rpm. Then to install run as root ' rpm -ivh hplip*.rpm '.
To see if install run the command ' rpm -qa | grep hplip '
If it list then it may not be started. To see check status of services as root.
/sbin/service --status-all
I have been there.
I just wanted to know if anyone has used it, and what kind of luck they had.
A friend of mine wants to buy one, I don't have one, so I can't test it.

No idea but have used HP for years with no issues. Either using the old HPOJ package or the New HPLIP package. Used many Officejet, photojets, and a few lasers. The lasers were the ones with some slight bug issues.
