How to stop auto-pasting on scolling mouse wheel

Hi folk,

F7

I found on scrolling mouse wheel pasting will function continuously on gedit/kedit

Perform following steps;

- highlight to select text on console
- pasting the selected text on gedit/kedit by clicking the mouse wheel
- scrolling the mouse wheel will continue pasting

$ cat /etc/Xorg/xorg.conf
Code:
$ cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf
# Xorg configuration created by livna-config-display

Section "ServerLayout"
        Identifier     "single head configuration"
        Screen      0  "Screen0" 0 0
        InputDevice    "Keyboard0" "CoreKeyboard"
EndSection

EndSection

EndSection

Section "InputDevice"

EndSection

Section "InputDevice"

    Option         "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
    Option         "Emulate3Buttons" "no"
    Option         "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
EndSection

Section "Device"
        Identifier  "Videocard0"

EndSection

    VertRefresh     50.0 - 150.0
    Option         "DPMS"
EndSection

Section "Screen"

        EndSubSection
EndSection

Section "Extensions"
        Option      "Composite" "Enable"
EndSection
Tried "Option "Protocol" "auto"", without improvement.

Would it be another file controlling it? TIA

Is "F7" a keyboard reference or to a distro? Be more clear, or put your distro in your profile, or both? While you're at it, consider completing your profile.

I either do not understand your exposition of your problem, or I can't duplicate it on SimplyMEPIS 6.0.
