how to start XFCE "desktop" on FC9

Good Day,

I just installed FC9, I was hopping that I could try XFCE as my desktop instead of gnome.
is that possible.

During installation I didn't select "gnome" and i did select XFCE.
After computer finish booting(runlevel 3) I tried telinit 5. I looks like it still try to start gnome.
It shows login box but when I give usr/pwd it start same screen again. Asking for usr/passwd.

So what did I install when I checked on XFCE ? isn't it desktop environment ?

Thanks

There had been a problem with a ISO of Fedora 9, where you could choose KDE or XFCE but it didn't work, I guess you've got one of those. But no pain at all.

Just use yum to install XFCE

yum groupinstall XFCE
and then choose XFCE while logging in

I did the yum -y groupinstall XFCE and I have read in a few places about choosing Xfce instead of Gnome (Sessions at the log in) but I don't see that option anywhere. I have tried this on two systems with no love.

Never mind, now I see the session option at the bottom of the log in screen.
