how to save config changes in gnome terminal?


I'm setting up an apache webserver and need to save some changes to a file via gnome terminal, being the first time Ive done this I cant work out how to save the changes.

Help me please

P.S Eventually making the change over to linux!

well that's totally down to what tet editor you wish to use. if you want to get started with console based text editors, try vi. google for "vi cheat sheet" and off you go. alternatively, just run "vimtutor" for a tutorial under fedora.

I recommend nano for Newbie because of the bar down the bottom
