how to remove obsoletes later on

Hello,

I've been doing an upgrade to fedora core 4 using yum.

But when I should have done "yum upgrade" or "yum --obsoletes update" I just did "yum update". Now, I've lots of old software packages still installed on my machine. Is there a way to get rid of these packages?

TIA

One suggestion... You can get a list of packages not in the repositories with "yum list extras"; presumably many of those are obsolete packages.
