Question How to delete (remove) Fedora

Hello. This might be a stupid question but I don't want to mess my hole laptop because I did something wrong!
Since I did a yum update, and a key wasnt approved and everything froze, I add to restart my computer and now I get problems (like no more GUI and a nice Id "x" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes message before loging in a "terminal form"! see post... ). So I'm a bit frustrated since I cannot get Fedora back as it was before, I decided to remove it. Its on a second partition in ext3 just for Fedora, and Win XP is on the main one. I was (and I am still) using the dual boot option that comes with Fedora and I boot in DOS by default.
So my question is how can I remove properly Fedora and have Win XP back booting normally such as before?
Do I only need to delete the partition where Fedora is on and just reincorporate it into the main one, and Win XP will boot as before? Or since I was using the dual boot option from Fedora, is there anything else that need to be done?
Thx for ur input,
Max

P.S. And if there is a way I can recover Fedora, that be nice also ;-) Unless I need to install it again :-( !!

Fix the partitions, and fix the bootloader: boot with XP cd, enter Recovery Console, run 'fixmbr'.

I have Partition Magic that I can use. What do you mean exactly by fixing both the partitions and the bootloader?
Thx,
Max

boot with your xp cd you will have option to goto recovery console once there type fixmbr which will restore ntldr the normal xp boot loader. then you can use partition magic to delete fodora partitions. you might be able to repair fedora with your fedora cd boot with it and choose upgrade. that work for me when i could not get into x.

Ok then what I might do is to is to try to recover Fedora with the CD.
Otherwise if it not works I will do what you said.
Can you even put a 3rd OS (another Linux distro) and still use the boot that comes with Fedora (in case I am able to restore it) ?
Thx,
Max

Yes. Just tell the 3rd one not to overwrite the mbr.

Ok thx aaa.
Do you think the third OS will automatically be added to the grub loader of Fedora or you have to do something in Fedora to put the 3rd OS in their boot loader?
Thx,
Max

You will have to add a few lines to Fedora's bootloader configuration.
