Hello. This might be a stupid question but I don't want to mess my hole laptop because I did something wrong!
Since I did a yum update, and a key wasnt approved and everything froze, I add to restart my computer and now I get problems (like no more GUI and a nice
Id "x" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes message before loging in a "terminal form"!
see post... ). So I'm a bit frustrated since I cannot get Fedora back as it was before, I decided to remove it. Its on a second partition in ext3 just for Fedora, and Win XP is on the main one. I was (and I am still) using the dual boot option that comes with Fedora and I boot in DOS by default.
So my question is how can I remove properly Fedora and have Win XP back booting normally such as before?
Do I only need to delete the partition where Fedora is on and just reincorporate it into the main one, and Win XP will boot as before? Or since I was using the dual boot option from Fedora, is there anything else that need to be done?
Thx for ur input,
Max
P.S. And if there is a way I can recover Fedora, that be nice also ;-) Unless I need to install it again :-( !!
