How do I get GRUB Dual Boot
I installed FC6 via HTTP after not being able to get the disks to install on one system in the household. It appears to have installed, but I never got the option to dual boot and now it just boots into windows.
I do an linux rescue but no matter what I do to GRUB INSTALL, all I get is an error that states "Does not have cooresponding BIOS drive". Looking for help on this one. Thanks Tom :newbie: |
Well, the bootloader should be installed on the MBR of the drive you boot to. This means /dev/sda or /dev/hda, whichever your drive is called. Perhaps try a new install of grub and manually specify the destination.

you can come into linux rescue by the first cd ,and mount windows's boot partition , then copy the first section of boot by "dd" order ,at last add c:/linuxfc6.lin="fc6" in the boot loader.if you don't know how to do ,you'd better watch fc's documentation.
