How do I get channels into Up2date??
I have a fresh install of Fedora Core 1 and I have up2date installed and I went to Red Hat Network and have my system registered but it has no channels. When I run up2date the channel screen that comes up is blank and on the website it says I have no channels subscribed. I don't see anywhere on the webpage for Red Hat Network where it will let me subscribe to any channels and I didn't find anything at Fedora's website.
Is there a command line command that I can issue to fetch available channels and subscribe?? rberry88 |
There is some good info. about up2date, and yum at: http://fedora.artoo.net/faq/ .
IMHO, up2date is ok, but yum is ever sooo much better. |
Thanks, I've been starting to use yum lately but couldn't figure out how to get up2date working properly, now I'm not going to worry about it. Yum it is.
