How did he do that??


Found this jpeg of someone's background! How in the hell did he get the clock, system info, and other stuff on his background install of the panel?? Really cool I must say!!

that, my friend, can be downloaded here:

it's a little program called superkaramba. I used to use it a while ago too (I even wrote a skin for it), but alas you will realize that it has quite a large toll on your system resources. your welcome to give it a shot, it certainly looks cool, but in my opinion go with gkrellm2 over superkaramba...

2 other awesome system monitoring tools are TORSMO and CONKY. CONKY is a modification of torsmo, and is actually more activwely maintained/developed. Both also use very little system resources.
