Download the 'netwhere client' source

http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/n...ar.gz?download

then read the included README

First thanks buddy about the link for netwhere

But there have some problem while install

First the readme document discribed the install procedure is incorrect
the most correct instruction which i found from its project websit.

Second althought follow the its website instruction by using either sh setup.sh and sh RPMsetup.sh
the install still not can not finishes.

By reboot the FC3 it can not find its command to start the novell client.

This project's install documentary is too simple

Just ask whether there is alternative application can be use

Presuming you ran ./easyinst
open a terminal and type

'wish /usr/local/bin/netwhereclient4linux.tk'

without the '
that will launch the client login box.

When I use the wish command, I get unknown command. Do I need to install some thing?

thanks

i believe you need the tcl/tk packages installed for wish. it may be that they are not on your system. do an "rpm -q tcl" and "rpm -q tk" to see if they are on your system. if not, you'll have to locate the rpm's and get them installed.
