Help installing Fedora Core 3

Hi

I tried installing fedora core3 on my machine which has windows on it.
Now I had some free space, Installed Fedora core 3 and all went well until I had to reboot.
FC3 installed GRUB and when my machine boots it gets to "grub loading stage 2" and freezes.

Trying to fix this I installed ubuntu on another partition and it's GRUB overwrote the FC3 GRUB(and picked up FC3 on hdb2).
When I boot and try to go into ubuntu or windows it works fine however when I try to go int FC3 it also goes to ubuntu?

Can anyone help?
I would love to try FC

In grub.conf ubantu /etc/grub.conf where does the bit about fedora point to, to the correct partition for vmlinuz? Happy computing, Kurt
