HELP! in smb user login

hi,

I am trying to let a user login from a imac to the Linux FC3 running samba.

The smb passwords were correctly created, but every time it refuses to connect to the smb partition when trying to connect from the imac.

The samba partition can be seen from the Mac......
the user selects and tries to login...but refuses to connect......

Does uppercase/lower case matter? Imac seems to take everything in uppercase(?)...

what could be wrong ?

thanks

Maybe you should check your iptables files.

I thought

137,138,139 TCP should be open and 445 UDP
