help configuring yum
 

Hi all, happy new 2005!
Ok I have a simple question about yum.....is it possible to configure it to get any kind of pakages and not only the ones specially for the distro. For instance if i want to get something like.... xmame, it can't be done with yum but can be with apt, since FC3 comes with yum I don't want to install apt if I can use yum. (also apt can't be get with yum, same reason).
I know it can be configured in /etc/yum.conf but don't know where to point to get different pakages. there are no dedicated locations in my country.
(Could work by just adding apt configs.? something like addresses?)
Hope someone could help I know some others may be interested in this too.

Nevermind... got it done, just had to add a few addresses of repositories.

Only had to look in google... :p
