Headset isn't producing sound and internal speakers stay on.

Ok, I just bought a SONY Vaio, Installed Fedora 15 everything is fine except the Speaker jack isn't giving output and the internal speakers stay on when the headset is plugged in.
I ran Alsamixer, and tried different things there but nothing. Then I had sound coming from the headset and the internal speakers at the same time. I did a few more tweaks then lost the Headset again.
So: Right now I have no sound from the Headset and When I did have sound from the headset the internal speakers produce sound as well.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Sound

So right now I did something and have sound in both the Headset and from the internal speakers. How do I get the internal speakers to mute when the headset is plugged in?

Thanks in advance

Oh yeah

I do believe if you run this command (su -c "yum erase pulseaudio") which is supposed to work on Fedora 13, on Fedora 15 it jacks up GNOME.
