[root@localhost root]# rpm wine-20040121-1rh73winehq -e
error reading information on service wine: No such file or directory
error: %preun(wine-20040121-1rh73winehq) scriptlet failed, exit status 1

what the heck does this mean? and if itry to install a new package it tells me that it is allready installed.... and then if i try to run wine in the command promt i get

I have no experience with Wine, so I can't help you there, but your removal command was wrong. When uninstalling, it's like this: rpm -e "package name" instead of putting the -e
at the end. Almost ALL UNIX commands require the option right after the command name
and THEN the file or package that you are playing with.
