Graphics not diplaying properly on ATI Radeon Mobility 7500

I just purchased an IBM R51 and loaded Fedora Core 2... I am very much a newbie and would like some help getting some drivers configured. Any and all help very much appreciated.

I can only get my graphics to display a resolution of 800x600. 1024x768 distorts the screen something awful. FC2 recognized the driver but as I said does not seem to like it. Any suggestions?
