I have been using various linux distributions for a lnog time and occasionally done some administrative stuff but nothing hairy. Now I want to learn some more on the nuts-and-bolts level with Fedora like building kernels and whatnot.
I have looked a a few Fedora books and they are not good. They seem to be idiot guides with very little substance.
What I would like is a book which is complete but concise. Any suggestions?
Cheers.
Edit: I take that back about the "pro guides" there aren't any I can tell of.
You might want to read Rute User's Tutorial and Exposition and also the Unix and Internet Fundamentals linked in my sig.
They're both freely available online.
