Ok, didn't think of that
But, if I use yum, will I then be able to burn these files to a cd and then install it on another machine that do not have an internetconnection?
Is it any temp folder these files lay in?
Used ubuntu before, but switched to fedora because I thought I then could take all the files needed to install programs / drivers and burn it to a cd..
When my computer gets old it may not run the most modern version, but fedora 5 with all these "old" programs will still work, this is one of the reasons I want to burn these files on a cd!
The servers having these "old" libs will not be there in 5 years!
Tried SuSE that is (as far as I understand) a rpm system, but when it feels huge and heavy to run I tried the new fedora and it works very well for me so far!! -Feels much faster on my machine!
