Arrow Gfx problems / resolution

Hi there,

Im a newbie on Linux, and installed today Fedora Core 4 on my Acer Aspire 2003WLMi everything works fine except the resolution, im not able to change it to 1280x800 like in windows, if i do it, it screws the monitor...

So im stuck on 800x600 :|

I know this problem seems familiar in here, for sure it's a "newbie-like-problem", but i did search here and in google and didnt find a "good" answer that helped me to solve this problem.

Maybe i need to update gfx drivers, since I have an Ati Mobility Radeon 9200, but dont know what drivers to download or install..

Can anyone help me on this?

Thanks in advance

Tks for your answer m8!

Here is a screenshot that shows what I told before;
solidlocker.webhs.org/fc4/fc4sshot1.png

Today I found a very usefull tutorial, and updated my gfx drivers, rebooted and then I was able to use 1280x800, but I cannot change it, although it's working on 1280x800 the "toolbars" dont seem to work ok, I cannot use the menu.. and they seem to be stucked on 800x600 size, here is a screenshot that shows it;

Now I can only access things on console, and really dont know what to do.. gnome-display-properties doesnt allow me to change resolution!

As I said before, Im newbie and now I dont really know what to do.. can anyone give me some tips/help? :P

Thanks in advance
